Now you don’t need to create an account before you can use Arethusa free VPN service. The connection method of Arethusa free VPN is OpenVPN TCP. You can Click Here to get the CA and Config files for the free server.
There is no speed limit but the server might be full during peak hours. The free server can only be used for web surfing, everything else is blocked.
Allowed ports: HTTP(S), DNS, FTP, SSH, POP3(S), NTP, IMAP(S), RTMP, XMPP.
VPN Server location: France

VPN Username: arethusa
VPN Password: tguaj88v7k
The password might change from time to time. Please visit Arethusa forums at http://bb.s6n.org/index.php to see the latest changes.
If you have OpenVPN installed on your computer, you only need to download the CA and Config files and unzip them to the OpenVPN configuration directory. For OpenVPN Portable users, the configuration directory is “OpenVPN Portable/data/config/”.
If you don’t have OpenVPN, you need to install it. Click Here to download the latest version then run it as Administrator. Click “Next >”, “I Agree”, “Next >” (leave all boxes checked), “Install”, “Next >”, uncheck “Show readme” then “Finish”.
Open the OpenVPN configuration directory (Start -> Programs -> OpenVPN -> Shortcuts -> OpenVPN configuration file directory) and copy the CA and Config files into that directory.
Launch OpenVPN GUI as Administrator: Start -> Programs -> OpenVPN -> OpenVPN GUI.
Locate the OpenVPN GUI icon in the systray. Right click on the icon and click on “Connect”.
Enter the username and password and click “Ok”.
You can right click the OpenVPN GUI icon in the systray to disconnect Arethusa free VPN if you have connected.
